Joseloff recovering from prostate cancer surgery

First Selectman Gordon Joseloff, who last week took a medical leave from office, is recovering at home after surgery for prostate cancer.

Last week, Town Attorney Ira Bloom confirmed a Westport News report that Joseloff would be out of the office several weeks for a medical issue, but added that the 66-year-old first selectman would be working from home and that no one would be assuming his chief executive authority in the interim.
